Mark Eidelson, AICP, President of Landplan, is a nationally certified planner and member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP). He holds a Bachelor's degree in Community Development from Pennsylvania State University and Master's Degrees in both Planning and Landscape Architecture from the University of Michigan. His experience covers more than 20 years of Michigan-specific rural community and small town planning and zoning services including the development of and amendments to master plans and zoning ordinances; consensus building and the use of surveys and futuring; the review of site plans, special land use applications, and rezoning proposals; and day-to-day assistance such as phone consultations and attendance at meetings.
In addition, clients benefit from the extensive experience and knowledge Landplan has amassed over the years as part of its assistance to communities across Michigan including the Upper Peninsula, the shoreline areas of the three surrounding Great Lakes, and the heartland of the state.
Since 1992, Mark Eidelson has been a regular contributor to the Planning & Zoning News, the only Michigan-specific monthly planning and zoning journal addressing important court cases and planning and zoning issues.
